Useful Tips

These tips will hopefully build up in time as we get asked more questions by our customers. Feel free to email us any tips you think we should consider publishing.

Problem - what do I write on my web site?
Possible Solution - Keep it simple. Read this article kindly supplied by Lesley Morrissey of Inside News for a run down on how to make your web site work - The Goldfish Report.

Problem - can't receive email, Outlook Express stopping after partial download.
Possible cause - spam, and/or excessively large email.
Possible solution - look at emails directly on the server using something like Mail2Web.com or 'WebMail' and delete any you don't recognise or are suspicious of.

WARNING - DO NOT respond to emails asking you to confirm you bank details. Banks DO NOT sent out any email asking for security information. These emails are fraudulent. Report them to your bank. If you think an email might be legitimate then DON'T respond with your details through any link in the email, instead go directly to the URL (web address) you know is genuine and enter your details through the legitimate site. NEVER click on a link in an email unless you categorically know who the email is from and where the link will take you.
